Farmer Exchange Rate (FER) of Sumatera Barat Province in November 2024 was recorded at 129.36 and the Price of Harvested Dry Grain at the Farmer Level Decreases by 1.02 percent

Abstract

The Sumatera Barat FER in November 2024 was 129.36 or an increase of 3.02 percent compared to the previous month's FER. The increase in the FER was due to an increase in the Farmer Received Price Index (It) of 3.28 percent, greater than the increase in the Farmer Paid Price Index (Ib) of 0.25 percent.
The Sumatera Barat Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in November 2024 was 130.72 or an increase of 3.29 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
In November 2024, the NTP for each subsector was recorded at 104.40 for the food crops subsector (NTPP), 126.98 for the horticulture subsector (NTPH), 168.17 for the people's plantation subsector (NTPR), 106.24 for the livestock subsector (NTPT), and 93.15 for the fisheries subsector (NTPN). The fisheries subsector is divided into two, namely the capture fisheries and aquaculture subsectors with FERs of 95.43 and 91.42 respectively. In November 2024, the average price of GKP quality grain at the farmer level decreased by 1.02 percent from IDR 7,531.59 per kg (October 2024) to IDR 7,454.91 per kg (November 2024)
