Abstract

The value of exports originating from West Sumatra in August 2023 was US$223.21 million, a decrease of 1.43 percent compared to exports in July 2023.
  • The class of goods most exported in August 2023 is the animal/vegetable fats & oils (HS 15) class of US$ 178.52 million, followed by the salt, sulfur, lime (HS 25) class of US$ 8.47 million, and the various products class. chemistry (HS 38) amounting to US$7.89 million.
  • The import value of West Sumatra in August 2023 was US$35.89 million, an increase of 32.54 percent compared to imports in July 2023.
  • The largest category of imported goods in August 2023 is mineral fuel (HS 27) amounting to US$26.91 million.
