Abstract

The value of exports originating from West Sumatra in July 2023 was US$226.45 million, a decrease of 8.99 percent compared to exports in June 2023.
  • The class of goods most exported in July 2023 is the animal/vegetable fats & oils (HS 15) at US$ 182.05 million, followed by the vegetable ingredients class (HS 14) at US$ 10.34 million, and the various chemical products class. (HS 38) amounting to US$8.28 million.
  • The import value of West Sumatra in July 2023 was US$27.08 million, a decrease of 21.89 percent compared to imports in June 2023.
  • The largest category of imported goods in July 2023 is mineral fuel (HS 27) amounting to US$16.53 million.
