Abstract

In August 2023, on a Month to Month (m-to-m) basis, inflation occurred in Padang City of 0.07 percent and in Bukittinggi City there was deflation of 0.09 percent. In aggregate, the 2 Cities Combined recorded m-to-m inflation of 0.05 percent.
  • In August 2023, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Padang City will be 3.22 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 116.30 and Bukittinggi City will be 3.32 percent with a CPI of 116.08. In aggregate, year on year inflation combined for 2 cities was 3.23 percent with a CPI of 116.28.
