Implementation of the August 2022 Sakernas Update

The implementation of the August National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) began with updating activities in each sampled Census Block. This activity aims to update the content in the sample census block which will then be sampled.

The SP2020 population list was updated and the results of the previous survey activities were door-to-door, meaning that every building located in the sample census block area was visited by officers to check on the whereabouts of the family, then made a conversion from family to household.

The updated list used is sourced from the results of SP2020 or has been updated using the family concept, therefore it is necessary to convert from a family approach to a household.

Family is a person or group of people, whether related by blood (husband, wife, children, parents) or not. Usually registered in the Family Card (KK) while the household is defined as 1 (one) or a group of people (usually a family) who live together and in 1 (one) management of eating/drinking and meeting daily needs. The person in charge of the household is referred to as the head of the household (KRT).

The implementation of this update is scheduled from July 25 to August 7, 2022. The condition of the field implementation until August 3, 2022 has reached 88.89 percent or as many as 32 of the 36 Census Block targets have been updated.
