Abstract

The value of exports originating from Sumatera Barat in December 2024 was US$173.56 million, a decrease of 21.20 percent compared to exports in November 2024.
The most exported category of goods in December 2024 was animal/vegetable fats & oils (HS 15) amounting to US$135.17 million, followed by the vegetable materials group (HS 14) amounting to US$9.67 million, and the rubber and rubber goods group (HS 40) amounting to US$9.46 million.
Exports to India accounted for 29.35 percent of total exports from Sumatera Barat in January–December 2024.
According to sector, exports of processing industry products in December 2024 decreased by 25.32 percent compared to exports in November 2024.
