Abstract

The total workforce of Sumatera Barat Province based on the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) in August 2024 was 3.10 million people, an increase of 78.60 thousand people compared to August 2023.
The Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) of Sumatera Barat Province in August 2024 was 70.28 percent, an increase of 0.67 percentage points compared to August 2023.
The working population in Sumatera Barat Province is 2.92 million people, an increase of 79.83 thousand people compared to August 2023 (2.84 million people).
The Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) for Sumatera Barat Province in August 2024 was 5.75 percent, down 0.19 percentage points compared to August 2023
