Abstraction
West Sumatra's economy in the second quarter of 2023 as measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices reached IDR 77.92 trillion and at constant 2010 prices reached IDR 47.51 trillion.
  • West Sumatra's economy in quarter II-2023 against quarter II-2022 grew by 5.14 percent (y-on-y). From the production side, the highest growth occurred in the Government Administration, Defense and Compulsory Social Security Business Fields of 14.12 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the highest growth occurred in the Gross Fixed Capital Formation Component of 7.15 percent.
  • West Sumatra's economy in the second quarter of 2023 compared to the previous quarter grew by 1.82 percent (q-to-q). From the production side, the highest growth occurred in Other Service Business Fields of 12.08 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth occurred in the Government Consumption Expenditure Component of 38.88 percent
