The Gender Inequality Index (IKG) in 2022 was 0.430, down 0.025 points compared to 2021 which was 0.455.
  • The decline in the Gender Inequality Index (IKG) was mainly influenced by improvements in the reproductive health dimension and the empowerment dimension.
  • The improvement in the reproductive health dimension is influenced by the improvement in the indicators of women giving birth not in health facilities which fall from 13.80 percent in 2021 to 10.00 percent in 2022
