In June 2023, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation for the City of Padang was 3.03 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 115.65 and the City of Bukittinggi was 2.34 percent with a CPI of 115.76. In aggregate, the year on year inflation of the 2 cities combined was 2.95 percent with a CPI of 115.66.

In June 2023, on a Month to Month (m-to-m) basis there was deflation in the City of Padang of 0.03 percent and in the City of Bukittinggi there was inflation of 0.09 percent. In aggregate, the 2 cities combined experienced a m-to-m deflation of 0.03 percent.

As of June 2023, on a Year to Date (y-to-d) inflation rate for the City of Padang was 0.83 percent and the inflation rate for the City of Bukittinggi was 0.78 percent. In aggregate, the 2-City Combined y-to-d inflation was recorded at 0.82 percent.
