Abstract

In August 2022, West Sumatra experienced a deflation of 0.95 percent or a decline in the CPI from 113.72 in July 2022 to 112.64 in August 2022.
  • The inflation rate for the calendar year or August 2022 against December 2021 was 5.48 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate or August 2022 against August 2021 in West Sumatra was recorded at 7.11 percent.
