Abstract

West Sumatra's NTP in December 2020 was recorded at 102.68 or an increase of 0.72 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 101.95 (November 2020).
The price index received by farmers (It) increased by 1.09 percent and the price index paid by farmers (Ib) increased by 0.37 percent.
In December 2020, the NTP of each sub-sector was recorded at 94.84 for the food crops sub-sector (NTPP), 99.09 for the horticulture sub-sector (NTPH), 113.73 for the smallholder plantation sub-sector (NTPR), 105.74 for the livestock sub-sector ( NTPT), and 94.25 for the fisheries sub-sector (NTPN). The fisheries sub-sector is divided into two, namely the capture fisheries and aquaculture sub-sectors with NTPs of 100.78 and 89.29, respectively.
In December 2020 the average price of GKP quality grain at the farm level decreased by 0.11 percent from IDR 5,220.14 per kg (November 2020) to IDR 5,214.55 per kg (December 2020), and at the milling level it increased by 0.01 percent from IDR 5,331.22 per kg (November 2020) to IDR 5,331.71 per kg (December 2020).
