Preparation Meeting for Q2 SERUTI Survey

Preparation Meeting for Q2 SERUTI Survey

June 5, 2025 | BPS Activities

The Quarterly Household Economic Survey (SERUTI) is a household-based survey that integrates three surveys: the National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas), the Quarterly Household Consumption Survey (SKKRT), and the Household Savings and Investment Survey (SKTIR). This integration aims to reduce duplication, improve efficiency, and produce higher-quality household economic statistics. SERUTI is designed to compile household economic indicators on a quarterly basis. It is integrated with Susenas in March (Q1) and September (Q3), and continues with independent activities in June (Q2) and November (Q4).

SERUTI 2025 aims to obtain household economic statistics including values and patterns of income, consumption expenditure, non-consumption expenditure, investment, and financial transactions. The variables collected in SERUTI 2025 include household information; quantity and value of food, beverages, and tobacco consumption in the past week; value of non-food expenditures over the past month and past three months; income, receipts, and non-consumption expenditures in the past three months; household asset and liability positions; and perceptions of the household's economic condition.

BPS Padang Panjang City held a meeting to prepare for the implementation of the Q2 SERUTI Survey, which will be conducted from June 10 to 30. Residents of Padang Panjang who have been selected as survey samples are kindly expected to provide honest and accurate responses.

Let’s welcome the SERUTI officers when they come to your home, #SahabatData!
